Update on Federal Budget and Housing Commission Operations

As you may know, the federal government has now entered a shutdown due to Congress not finalizing the budget before the deadline.

We want to reassure the community that:

​

• The Housing Commission is considered an essential service.

• Funding for October has already been secured.

• All programs and services are continuing without interruption.

​

If the shutdown extends for a longer period, we will provide updates on any potential impact to our operations. For now, it remains business as usual at the Housing Commission.
